The AFTCO fiberglass gaffs are designed with a special e-glass handle construction that is both strong and lightweight. These handles are custom made for maximum strength and rigidity, using specific tapers developed by AFTCO. They are available in 4′, 6′, and 8′ lengths, and come with the same high-quality stainless steel hooks used in the Taper-Tip aluminum series of gaffs.

To ensure superior durability, the hooks are assembled into the e-glass handles using AFTCO's exclusive wedge-lok assembly process. The fiberglass gaffs also feature an attractive dark brown epoxy finish, with hand-wrapped black and metallic gold and blue thread trim wraps.

The handles of the fiberglass gaffs have black nylon seine cord wrapping, which not only looks stylish but also provides a comfortable and secure grip. The wrapping is finished with hand-finished Turk's heads on each end, and epoxy is applied to enhance durability and grip even when hands are wet or slimy. Additionally, a large rubber mushroom-style butt cap is added to the butt-end of each handle.

There are three hook sizes available for the fiberglass gaffs: 2″, 3″, and 4″. The 2″ and 3″ hooks are made of 316L stainless steel and have a 5/16″ diameter, while the 4″ hooks are made of N50 stainless steel. The 6′ and 8′ models of the gaffs are designed to float.
