Garmin Bronze Thru-hull Wide Beam XDucer – 12 Degree Tilt – 010-12181-21 - Review
Airmar B175HW Bronze Thru-hull Wide Beam Transducer with Depth and Temperature – 12°; Tilt, 8-Pin With this flush-mounted bronze housing that protrudes less than 1/4 inch beyond the hull and can rest on the trailer rollers/bunks without causing damage, you may increase your power output to 1 kW without the need for a fairing.
There is no longer a requirement for a fairing block since the transducer's interior features a tilting part that can fit any hull deadrise.
This 8-pin transducer has a depth of 600 feet, an operating frequency of 150-250 kHz, a beamwidth of 25 degrees, and a deadrise angle of 8 to 15 degrees, making it a good choice for fiberglass and wood hulls.
Instructions for setting up the transducer are included with the kit. To keep your boat from becoming damaged, be sure to carefully follow the directions.
