The Shimano Talora Trolling Rods have been completely redesigned for 2019 and now offer the most comprehensive series of freshwater trolling rods to date. These rods still maintain the classic actions that have made the Talora series so popular.

Constructed on Shimano's famous TC4 blanks, this new Talora series includes models that cater to various freshwater trolling techniques such as dipsy diver, downrigger/planer board, leadcore, and kokanee fishing. The rods are equipped with SeaGuide Aluminum Oxide guides, except for the leadcore models which feature SeaGuide Wire Frame guides specifically designed for leadcore and wire lines. All models come with comfortable EVA handles, with the exception of the ultra-light kokanee rod which has cork handles.

To enhance the freshwater trolling experience, Shimano recommends pairing the Talora rods with their Tekota level wind conventional reels.
