This system varies the leader's construction based on each pound test to provide optimum performance for lighter or heavier applications. For lighter pound tests, the fluorocarbon composition emphasizes suppleness to minimize interference of lure movement, while the focus shifts towards ruggedness and abrasion resistance as the weight rating increases. FC 100 is made with a triple resin processing process that provides outstanding abrasion resistance against structure such as rocks and debris, and of course sharp teeth. This process also enhances surface hardness for superior not strength, making for outstanding braid to leader connections.
